Happy 2015!

New beginnings are always a great thing, but Jimmy couldn’t be happier to see 2015 ring in. The past year was a roller coaster of super high-highs and big gut-punching lows, and so Jimmy’s asking the Universe for some peacefulness, healthfulness, love and creativity this year. The latter months did bring about some great projects though.

He jetted to LA in September to shoot a short film called California Dreaming, a comedy where he got to hold up a diner at gunpoint.

Immediately following, he teamed with some of his fellow Spiegelworld cohorts to work on a month-long comedy workshop in NYC, culminating in two performances at the world-famous Slipper Room.

Jimmy and his buddy Amos Glick completed shooting Amos’ short film, A Man Wakes Up, directed by Voki Kalfayan and shot by the great guys at Light Forge Studios.

And just before the ball dropped on the year, he completed his first half-dozen performances of his new permanent gig as the clown Pocus in Cirque du Soleil’s Zarkana at Aria Resorts & Casino, Las Vegas, alongside the great clown Maxim Fomitchev!

And 2015 is already looking sunny! Vegas Seven Magazine featured Jimmy in their Intriguing People of 2015 issue.

On Super Bowl weekend, Jimmy landed a gig with Bud Light in their House of Whatever promo event in Phoenix, AZ, a three-day long party ramping up to the Big Game. Jimmy played a comic anchor on a fake sports news desk, interviewing party-goers as they came by. He also hosted a Dating Game-like show that resulted in the rapper Nelly as a secret bachelor.

Jimmy appeared in his pal Amos Glick’s cabaret OK OK Variety Show with a brand new and a little naughty comedy number. Following the show was the first screening A Man Wakes Up which was very positively received! Now the film goes into the festival circuit.

Coming up, Jimmy puts together another new comedy act for Cirque du Soleil’s one-night-only performance One Night for ONE DROP in March celebrating World Water Day.

And another lip sync video has been rattling in Jimmy’s brain for quite a few years now. And he’s determined to pump it out this month!

Happy New Year (a month late)!
