Fresh from the grand stages of Cirque du Soleil and touring the world as P!NK‘s concert host, Jimmy Slonina is an award-winning actor, physical comedian and voice talent — a precision loose cannon with a heart of gold. With over three million YouTube hits under his belt, he has become one of the most sought-after character performers of the stage, screen and microphone. Jimmy has wowed hundreds of thousands in theaters big and small, including the Slipper Room, Barclays Center, and Madison Square Garden in NYC, Steppenwolf Theater and Chicago Shakespeare Theatre in Chicago, the O2 in London, the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia, as well as more than a dozen Las Vegas showrooms. He has appeared in several critically-acclaimed films, commercials and videos.

“This wonderful performer,” the Chicago Tribune raved, “gives as distinctive a performance as any this year.” The Chicago Sun-Times described him as “an exceptional physical clown.” And the Las Vegas Review-Journal praised his solo show, “Slonina has the precision and control of a master mime, but he also has an actor’s sensibility… I can’t imagine anyone not having a good time.”

Not your granddaddy’s Renaissance Man!

I am a physical comic, voice actor, lip sync artist, graphic and web designer, body paint photographer, and unseemly ukulele player — more or less in that order.

A cirque clown (‘cirque’ with both upper and lower case “C”) with decades of experience performing under varied disciplines — mostly comedic, largely physical — I’m a performance artist tirelessly searching for truth and relevance in the characters I create and the stories I tell.

My work stands out because I’m a painstaking and foolhardy perfectionist. Whether it’s onstage or on-mic, in front or behind the camera, or with visual, digital art, my processes usually result in a product with a hard edge and a clean finish.

It’s exhilarating to go from entertaining less than 200 people a night in various small-scale theaters, to 2,000 a night with Cirque du Soleil, to up to 20,000 a night with the pop singer P!NK, performing in nearly every corner of the U.S. and the world. Though I also find much joy in more intimate artistic ventures, such as self-producing wildly popular (read: viral) lip sync videos and other outside-the-box-yet-accessible projects.

So what brings you all the way to the bottom of this column? You’re in need of a fierce, creative problem-solver, a one-stop-shop collaborator, a guy with the experience and fearlessness to work with you to realize your vision.

Give me a holler!
